Huaneng Jinling Power Plant Phase II Project: Auxiliary Power Monitoring System for 2×1030MW Ultra-Supercritical Coal-Fired Units
This project involved the construction of two 1030MW coal-fired generating units. The units are connected to the grid via 500kV lines in a unitized configuration, with the start-up/standby transformer directly connected to a 220kV line. Each unit is equipped with two high-voltage auxiliary transformers. The low-voltage side of each transformer connects to a 6kV auxiliary bus, resulting in three such bus sections per unit. A common high-voltage shutdown standby transformer with on-load tap changing capability is installed for both units.
Wiscom System supplied the project with its 6kV comprehensive protection devices from the WDZ series, 400V comprehensive protection devices from the LPC series, the DCAP-4000 Electrical Control Management System (ECMS), iPACS series measurement and control devices for the step-up substation, and the core ECM-5900 series communication units.
The solution realized integrated functions for the plant-wide electrical system, including operation, protection, control, fault information management and diagnosis, and electrical performance optimization. It achieved seamless integration with the plant's DCS and SIS, significantly enhancing the automation and operational management level of the power plant's electrical systems.
Shenhua Fujian Luoyuanwan Port-Power Integration Project Phase I: 2×1000MW Domestic Ultra-Supercritical Coal-Fired Unit Project
The initial phase comprised two 1000MW units (with a total planned capacity of four 1000MW units). The plant connects to the grid at the 500kV voltage level, utilizing a one-and-a-half breaker main bus configuration. The 10kV comprehensive protection employs the WDZ series devices, the 400V comprehensive protection uses the LPC series, the communication layer is built on ECM-5900 series communication units, and the ECMS is the DCAP-4000 system.
All plant monitoring workstations, protection, and measurement & control devices were uniformly modeled according to the IEC 61850 standard. This implementation realized automation for a digital power plant, ensuring safe, efficient, green, and low-carbon operation of the generating units.
