Nanjing Chuangyuan Power "PV-Storage-Charging + Hydrogen" Integrated Energy Recycling Project
The Nanjing Chuangyuan Power "PV-Storage-Charging + Hydrogen" Integrated Energy Recycling Project encompasses the comprehensive and cyclical application of new energy sources, including solar, storage, charging, and hydrogen. Key components include: a PV system (1.5 MWp) and charging piles for self-generation and consumption; an energy storage system (250 kW / 500 kWh) for peak shaving, valley filling, and backup power; a water electrolysis hydrogen production unit (2.2 m³/h) supplying hydrogen to a fuel cell (5 kW) within the plant for power generation fed back into the grid; and data integration into a comprehensive energy management and control platform for unified oversight. This integrated solution effectively reduces the user's energy costs and carbon footprint. The project was successfully selected as a National Science & Technology Demonstration Project by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. Key Performance Indicators: Annual power generation ~1.54 million kWh; Annual energy storage charging ~200,000 kWh; Fuel cell power generation ~165,000 kWh; Hydrogen energy cycle system efficiency ~24%. The project achieves approximately 25% in electricity cost savings, with annual emission reductions of 787.1 tons of CO₂, 6 tons of SO₂, and 2.03 tons of NOx, equivalent to saving 294.92 tons of standard coal.
